I am wanting to delete a folder which is no longer in use on Outlook 2007.
When i interact with it in anyway, right click, left click, etc.., i just get the message showed in this attachment.
How do i get rid of the folder?
I have had issues before with folders in Outlook 2007, i opened Outlook in safe mode and then i was able to delete the problem folder.
Hold down the CTRL key prior to clicking on the Outlook 2007 icon. This opens it in safe mode.
delete the offending folder
to exit safe mode, close outlook and reopen normally.
Hope this helps.

If you have checked the path to ensure the pst file is in that location still? Then maybe try running the scanpst.exe file which is located in the Office folder in Program Files. You can use this to scan a pst and check if it is corrupt and if so then it attempts to fix it.
It is possible the contents of that folder were moved to an archive that is no longer open in Outlook. Check if you have auto-archiving enabled and if so, where the archive .pst is located. Open the archive and then try to delete the folder.
One other thought. If that does not work, you can start Outlook from Run with the /resetfolders switch. C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE12\OUTLOOK.exe /resetfolders
Then try and delete the folder.
The PST is long gone, i just need to delete the folder which used to open it.

Delete through the mail profile in control panel, or if that does not work open regedit and navigate to
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows
Messaging Subsystem\Profiles
HTH
I just found a way. I created a folder in deleted items then moved the folder there then emptied the deleted folder.
Safe mode did the trick, Thank You SirBrendan0808 wrote:
